From Mwh to Mbps: The new happy earth emoji or the new energy/data deal

Chances are you are paying more for your digital data bandwidth bill (a.k.a internet + TV bill) than for your energy bill. Even more, the ratio of the internet/energy service cost could be up to 10:1 if you have access to a high speed internet service (>500 Mbps without data cap provided by fiber optic ISP).

Perhaps we are witnessing the dawn of the fourth industrial revolution, where the Internet of Thinks (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), vehicle to grid (VTG), self-driving cars technology, among others will generate a boom in the already fast growing hyperscale Cloud Service Providers (CSP) data centers.

According with the Data Center Knowledge energy consumption forecast (http://www.datacenterknowledge.com) by 2020 the hyperscale CSP data centers will account for the 25% of the total data centers energy consumption in the US.

Therefore, the trend for the business/citizens Kwh per capita consumption rate is to go up along with the enhanced Mbps per capita consumption rate in light of the new digital era.

So we are encouraging the big internet players to put their server’s farms on top of renewable energy centers in order to generate a clean wave of Mwh in form of Mbps for the final user. In this way, business and citizens will get in their digital data bill the amount of happy earth emoji’s obtained in the new clean energy/data deal.

Having millions of happy earth emojis will be as cool as having thousands of miles to flight or having thousands of likes or thousands of retweets.

How cool is that?
