Super Machines

There is a hype and public fascination going on about the development of the self-driving cars and the future of the potential disruption in the vehicle's industry.

But perhaps, more interesting will be the automatization of the heavy construction machinery, to explore the hostile and remote arctic zones, the ocean depth and of course the solar system.

Maybe the first attempt to build a Mar's colony, could be performed first in the Earth's Arctic or under the ocean, using highly automated super machines.

For the first time ever, the man kind has the real chance to generate wealth for the entire planet, leaving behind the economy struggle as something distant part of the pre-digital era history.

Undoubtedly, fully automated smart machines will play a key role when exploring Mars, therefore commence to design, fabricate and use those super tools on earth's most hostile and remote places makes a lot of sense, since the amount of huge wealth will generate will eventually make jump the civilization to the next level, reaching perhaps the type II civilization level in accordance with the Kardashev scale ( Type II civilization: "A civilization capable of harnessing the energy radiated by its own star"--for example, the stage of successful construction of a Dyson sphere--"with energy consumption at ≈4×1033 erg/sec."[1] Lemarchand stated this as "A civilization capable of utilizing and channeling the entire radiation output of its star. The energy utilization would then be comparable to the luminosity of our Sun, about 4×1033 erg/sec (4×1026 Watt)."[3]

Well, by definition the next generation of super machines should be green, why? Precisely because are going to be working in remote areas where oil won't be available, besides this the new explored zones (deep ocean, arctic zones , Mars, the Solar System) most likely will be colonized under the type II civilization protocols.

So, the next time you watch a self-driving excavator working in a construction project nearby, don't think the common cliche about another human losing his job in behalf of the machine, no. Think that a new civilization mega projects era has begun, a prelude of a type II civilization, where humans and machines will be busy exploring the infinite and wealthy universe.
